Obituary for Jack Trautwein (John Howard Trautwein)

RIP, Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024

John Howard (Jack) Trautwein of Alpharetta, GA passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday morning, March 31, 2024. He was just 11 days shy of his 93rd birthday. Jack was born on April 10, 1931, in Philadelphia PA to Howard and Helen Trautwein, and had one sister, Anne Trautwein Patlovich.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gwendolyn Trautwein and …

Personal note from John Trautwein, Jack's son

We will be having the funeral for Jack Trautwein at 2pm today (Friday June 21st) at Johns Creek Presbyterian Church in Johns Creek, GA. The service will be in the chapel - the dress is casual.

The address is:
Johns Creek Presbyterian Church
10950 Bell Road
Johns Creek, GA 30097

The funeral will end around 3 pm.

There will be a "Celebration of Life" for Jack at his son John Trautwein's home after the service. Assume 4pm. It will be warm, and we'll be inside and outside so bring your shorts - swim in the pool if you like :).

We'll be serving Cheesesteaks and Hoagies, Jack's favorite foods! He would want us to be together laughing and having fun - sharing old stories about "The Old Lefthander"

If you can't make it - the service will be streamed on-line at the Johns Creek Presbyterian Church's website
