John “Jack”'s obituary

John “Jack” H Sullivan, 92, passed away in his home in Chalfont, PA on June 5th, 2021. John was born in Philadelphia , PA on May 6th, 1929 to Anna and Francis Sullivan.

John was married to Ethel Sullivan (Beattie), for 64 years. Together they had four children; John, Bruce, Jacqueline and Cathy. John is survived by his son Bruce and wife, Diane Sullivan, daughter Cathy and husband, Joe Saxon. John is also survived by his 9 grandchildren: Dan and wife Pam, Kasey, Kristen and husband Kevin, Kaitlyn and husband Drew, Brianna, Megan, Matthew, Emily, Georgianna, and his two great grandchildren Natalie and Lacey. John was predeceased by his mother and father, Anna and Francis, son John, daughter Jacqueline, and grand daughter Nicole. John is predeceased by his siblings Francis, Charles, Joseph and Anna.

John, also known as Jack, owned and operated a successful business, Sullivan and Son Pools. Jack enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing. He was the life of the party and enjoyed dancing and a cold VO. Jack was proud member of the United States Army and served his time in Korea. He enjoyed life at his cabin in Mt. Pocono surrounded by family where he enjoyed taking his grandkids fishing. 

Memorial services will be held at Horsham VFW Post 9788, located 324 Sawmill Lane, Horsham, PA 19044 on July 24, 2021. Memorial service to be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Family and friends are invited to remain after for a luncheon. Memorial donations may be made in John H. Sullivan’s name to Pets for the Elderly (PFE). 

*Organization option: Pets for the Elderly (PFE). An organization that helps pair seniors and animals. Pop was known for bringing a stray dog home and we all love dogs.
