John Hrabak age 75, passed away peacefully at home in Durham, NC January 2, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Linda Woltman Hrabak; loving father of Melissa Kushnir (Basil); proudest grandpa of Lilia, Sophie, and Anastasia; fiancé of Brenda Sawyer; dearest brother of Marge Burton (Jeff).Born in Cleveland, OH July 31,1944. John enjoyed many years in Cleveland, OH, Columbia, MD, and Durham, NC. John was a proud veteran of the US Navy. John loved life and enjoyed spending time with those he loved. He was a friend to every person he met and cared deeply about many. You could find him watching football, fishing, or chasing his granddaughters. A special thank you to everyone at Duke Hospice that cared for John daily.
