John Henry Thompson passed away Tuesday July 21st at OSF Heart of Mary Hospital surrounded by his four daughters and eldest granddaughter. John is survived by his wife, Carol Thompson five children Peggy (Bryan) Burch, Anna (Rodney) Cheeseman, Rebecca (Ryan) Stull, John (Heather) Thompson, and Sherry (Randy) Lawhorn; Sixteen Grandchildren; Thomas, Jordan, Bailey, Rodney, Christopher, Austin, Jimmy, Kayla, Nicholas, Dakota, Abigayle, William, Hayden,
Jaxson, Blake, and Cole. Two Great Grandchildren, Greyson and Gabriel, two brothers ; Raymond and Bill (William) Thompson, nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews along with special friends considered family Sue Ella and Ox. John was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. All will remember John for his playful, kind and giving nature.
