John Jesse Heichert III, 28, left our world in the early morning hours. It is suggested, and we wish to believe, that Jesse left in peace. He was, is, and will always be at peace, now. 

Jesse is survived by his father, John Heichert II, mother, Beverly Smith, sister, Sarah Heichert of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Sister, Andrea Heichert of Virginia Beach, VA. Daughter, Gabrielle Alayna Heichert, beloved niece and nephew: Isidora and Devendra Posadas. Preceding Jesse was his Grandma, Joan Heichert, Ft. Pierce, Florida.

In so many ways we sense the loss. It is truly stunning. I can only find comfort in knowing he isn't fighting anymore; oh, how he fought through dark and incredibly treacherous fights. 

He is so much more than many ever dame to know, or think of him.

His genuine actions describe his true and certain personality and character. Unfortunately, his struggle pulled him far from his usual self. He was turned into someone we didn't recognize anymore. He couldn't even recognize himself.

Don't take anything from anyone or the streets. 99% of the time, it's fentanyl. Don't be another statistical number that wrecks the hearts of families. Don't die from curiosity.
