We mournfully announce the passing of John Eric Haynes, 62, of Tempe, Arizona. John passed away on June 16th, 2022, after complications from open heart surgery.

John was born to Jerry and Hellen Haynes, on August 7th, 1958 in West Monroe, Louisiana. The Haynes family relocated from Louisiana to Alabama and finally settled in Arizona. John pursued his teaching degree late in life and had a deep love for history.

John’s biggest passion in life was music. An avid guitar player and singer, he spent countless hours perfecting his ability. After an accident, doctors told him he would likely never play again. John never believed that and went on to have a long life of music.

When John wasn’t playing the guitar or writing music, he could be found with his wife Annette, usually up to some sort of shenanigans. John was a devoted husband, a beloved father, and an amazing friend. He will be dearly missed.
