I am so sorry to learn of John's passing.  He was a dear and fun friend to be with on my numerous visits with him.  We enjoyed the barter world, history, cars, real estate and   going to the monthly trade meetings.  He will be dearly missed.  I'm sorry that I was not aware of his passing earlier.

102 years, 9 months, and 9 days. That's how long the world was blessed with your presence. You were the most amazing person I know; the best papa one could ask for. Not growing up with a father, you showed me what a husband, a father, and grandfather should be; You set the bar incredibly high. Words cannot express how much I love you and how much I'm going miss you. I'm going to miss your jokes, your stories, our daily chats, and my daily dose of "sweetheart". Give grandma and Uncle Dick a hug for me.
