We are so very sorry for your loss.  Jay was a very kind and positive friend! We knew him from Canyons Church.  Sending love and prayers to you and your family.

I offer my prayers and condolences for the family. Jay and I were great friends as kids and enjoyed Friday nights at the skating rink, sleep overs at each others houses, cub scouts and lots of mischievous fun.

May he rest in eternal peace

Jay always had a way of making everyone laugh. His infectious, bubbly energy lit up every room, and as Cassey's friend, he made me feel like I was part of his family. It was clear how deeply he loved his children. I'll miss seeing you by the pool. You will always be missed <3

Jay and I went to high school together and were the best of friends. Jay and I lived together during the summer of '79, in an old broken-down farm house across the railroad tracks off Western. I am not sure how we survived those 4 years but man did we have a good time. Latter Jay was the best man at my wedding but soon after that our lives went in different directions and time just slipped away.

Rest in peace my friend,

Bruce Trochta

I went to high school with Jay and the man you described always had those characteristics. He was kind and funny and a friend to all, and those are great attributes to always be remembered. I hadn’t seen Jay in many years but the one thing about Facebook is that it brought friends from far away near. I’ll miss knowing he’s no longer a click of a keyboard away. My prayers are for all of you, finding peace and comfort in your memories.

Andy, Joey, and dear Cassey,

I am so sorry your loss.   As you know, I lost my daddy last year and at 80, that was still too soon, so I can’t imagine the holes in your hearts right now.   I’m sorry I can’t be there to hug you tight and tell you how much I love you all.
