John Stephen “Steve” Harms passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 after a battle with kidney cancer.
A proud native of Detroit, Michigan, Steve graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in radio and television and a master’s degree in Journalism. His academic path was interrupted in 1970 when he served his country as an infantry officer in Vietnam.
