John's obituary
John Anthony Hames passed away on June 15, 2025, in Puyallup, Washington, surrounded by his wife Debbie and their children, Amelia Dennison and LJ Hames.
Born in Reno, Nevada, on November 20, 1947, John served in Vietnam and returned home to live a quiet, private life. He was not always easy to know and often kept to himself, living life on his own terms.
He is survived by his wife Debbie; his children Michelle Barton, Amelia Dennison, and LJ Hames; and nine grandchildren. His presence in their lives, in both its challenges and constancy, will not be forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice
