John Francis Goodreau, aged 81, passed away on November 11, 2024, in Richmond, Virginia. Born on February 18, 1943, in Manistee, Michigan, John lived a life marked by a gregarious nature, a tenacious spirit, and a deep commitment to his family and friends. He was a proud supporter of his college alma mater.

John graduated from Bear Lake High School and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He dedicated a significant part of his professional life to the Xerox Corporation, where he worked from 1968 until his retirement in 2004.

John is survived by his loving wife, Betsy Goodreau; his children, Gui Goodreau and Danielle Goodreau; his son-in-law, J Frank; and his grandson, Jacques E.P. Goodreau. He also leaves behind his brothers, Maurice and Peter Goodreau, and sisters-in-law, Cheryl and Patricia Goodreau. John was preceded in death by his son, Jean Jacques Goodreau.

John will be remembered for his vibrant personality and his unwavering support to those around him.

A Memorial Service followed by a Reception will be held on January 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church located at 2700 Dolfield Rd., Bon Air, VA.
