John Gilliland, 84, of Sand Springs, OK, passed away on October 28, 2022 after a well-fought battle with cancer. John was born on August 28, 1938, to Carl and Bernice Gilliland in Dewey, Oklahoma. He joined the Navy in 1957 and was stationed in San Diego, California and Waukegan, Illinois. After leaving the military, he went on to study Accounting at Tulsa University. John provided disaster recovery services for American Airlines and was the owner …
