John's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Fox III, a remarkable man of great heart, wit, and determination, who left this world on October 27, 2024, having enriched our lives since his birth on October 7, 1957.

John was a protective soul with a fighters' spirit and a sharp wit that never failed to bring a smile to those around him. He was funny and fiercely dedicated to hard work which resonated in all aspects of his life. He was a beacon of strength and persistence, his spirit leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

John leaves behind a loving family who will dearly miss his irreplaceable presence. His legacy will continue in the lives of his children, Brandi Rainey, John Allen Fox, Justin Fox, and Brooke Crawford, each of whom inherited a portion of their father's vibrant spirit and tenacious character.

His memory will also be cherished by his beloved niece, Peggy Crawford, who held a special place in John's heart. John was preceded in death by his loving mother, Margaret (Peggy) Salley, his dedicated father, John Alec Fox II, and his supportive brothers, Jimmy Wiley and Raymond Wiley.

The loss of John is profound, but we find solace in our memories of his larger-than-life personality, his unwavering resilience, and his unyielding love for his family. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will forever be remembered as a man who lived life to its fullest with a heart filled with love and laughter. His memories will forever be etched in the hearts of his family and friends, providing comfort in the years to come.
