It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Nicholas Forrest, age 67, of Willard, MO., Who passed away on February 26, 2025, due to complications from Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

John was an amazing husband, dad, papa, brother, and friend to so many. He was born in Canada on August 14, 1957, and graduated from Paraclete High School in Lancaster, California. He met the love of his life Marcia and a few months later got married on August 11, 1979. 2 years later they had their son Jeremy and then their daughter Tiffany 2 years later. John was a dedicated General Contractor for over 35 years. He built more than 45 custom homes and took great pride in his work. He will be remembered for his kind heart, strong faith, and helping hand. John was a member of the SEAS Men's Club, Knights of Columbus, and an active volunteer at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and past catholic churches they belonged to. John had a love for horses, John Deer tractors, building anything and everything, and the occasional beer and hot wings after a softball game.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Marcia, son Jeremy- wife Allison, and grandson Holt. Daughter Tiffany- husband Zach and granddaughters Ashlyn and Rory. Sisters Theresa, Patricia, Debbie, and Diana. As well as numerous nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 2200 West Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807.

Johns legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
