John was a happy go lucky fellow with a large generous heart which overflowed into our lives. He had an infectious smile and will be in our hearts forever. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace John!
Your brother in law, Robert.
It was very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle John, I really appreciate all he has done for me and my family. Even though he's no longer with us, he will always be in our hearts. I thank him on behalf of the Phung family.

I never knew John long as I met him when he moved to Hervey bay with Elain and created Hervey Bay Quisine in the Harbour beside our cafe Bellas Chit Chat. I think the moment I met john we hit it off and this turned into many a coffee in our Cafe and a chat whenever he had a breather from work. John and me shared a love for boats and it was soon after this that john purchased his first boat and as I have been boating all my life we talked quite alot about it and fishing. When John moved back to Bargara I found out later that him and Elaine had broken up I felt a bit sad that we were no longer able to catch up on a regular basis like we had in the past. However ever time I was in Bagara which was fairly often I would drop in and see John and have a meal with him. He in return if in the Bay would also drop in and see me. I have to say I was totally shocked when I got the news and are still in shock. John was a fine man and someone who I respected. Although our friendship was short I believe it will be one that I will never forget. John I know you are resting in a good place and waiting for all of us to meet you again some day. Until then you will always be in my thoughts RIP from Peter Graham and Bella Woronjansky. I would also like to thank your beautiful sister who thought enough of me to call me and let me know that you passed as I feel privileged to have known you mate.
Uncle John we will miss you here! It was a shock and it took me a while to absorb it. You are forever in our hearts! It will be quiet without you here. All your nieces and nephews had a lot of fun with you. Send grandma my love. We will miss you on the dance floor! Love your annoying niece Maze x
Linda thank you for inviting me to John's beautiful funeral service. I was introduced to John by you in Bargara in 2007. At the time I was living in Bundaberg. From the first time that I met John he was friendly and kind. I loved his special gift of creating delicious Chinese food. I got to know John as a friendly and humorous person. I frequented his restaurant in Bargara. When in his restaurant I enjoyed how John greeted and interacted with his customers. Always warm and friendly.

Linda I was taken by surprise when you told me last week that John had passed away. I know that you and John shared a close bond. Your friendship will continue to grow.

I can still hear John's laugh and see his smiling face.
Our heartfelt Condolences , Ron, Angie and Family.
To Emmanuel and family,

John, You have sail a lot and I always remember when you pulled
up at Port Mathurin Jetty every morning Monday to Friday with
Chan to attend Port Mathurin School, at that time your sisters
and brother attended Laferme School. Here when we met we
always talk of the good memories and jokes of Rodrigues.
You will always be remembered with your beautiful smiles.
RIP my godfather! He always made me laugh. My condolences to John's family and friends.

John Loy, we grew up together and also shared good, bad and happy times together. Gone too soon, too young and too early. Didn't have time to say goodbye. You will always be remembered. See you again up there. Rest in Peace.
From ‘Paris to Peking’ to ‘Zest’, John will always be part of many of our loving memories. Rest in peace and love. Sending deepest condolences to Rachel, Angelina, Lyvia and John’s loving siblings and family. William and Lorene.
John, your help in Macau will always be remembered and cherished. Always there ready to help with a smile. We have been brought up together, Rodrigues, Macau, Hong Kong and Australia. Sadly now we must say adieu. Gone too early, too soon. You will always be remembered by many. Rest in Peace.
John had a heart of gold. He was always cheerful and friendly and happy-go-lucky. He loved his entire family and was loved back dearly. A very kind natured, loving and generous soul.
He will be especially remembered as a good friend to many. May he Rest In Peace and continue to watch over from above his two wonderful daughters and their blossoming families as they grow. He will be missed and will remain forever in our hearts.

RIP Loy
