So sorry to hear the news. Deeply saddened. So honoured to have met John during my time as an au pair. He always welcomed me into his family home with open arms and made some delicious food for me!

Sending so much love to johns family. Xx

We always celebrated birthdays together with a family dinner on each of our birthdays. Even as we both just felt old. 😂

John and I on my 20th birthda…
2011, Ashburn, VA, USA
John and I on my 20th birthday. He came over with the cake, smiling and saying, “It’s time to sing happy birthday to Feeee.” That smile is exactly how I’ll always remember him - full of joy, kindness, and that funny, teasing energy he had that made everyone around him feel comfortable and happy. Living with him, Kiran, Shay, and Nico was such a special time in my life. John was always very kind to me, made me feel at home, and treated me like part of the family from day one. I’ll never forget how he’d tease me for putting mustard on everything, or how he’d say “don’t worry, we’ll get you your Cocoa Puffs,” or laugh because I’d sit on the stairs to read Harry Potter instead of the “very comfortable couch, Fe” while Shay and Nico were napping. He was such an amazing dad, you could feel how much he loved Shay and Nico in everything he did. The way he played with them, how patient and silly he was, how his whole face would light up just watching them. It was beautiful to see. He was so proud and loved being their dad. It was truly a gift to have known him and shared that time with the family. His warmth, his humor, and his joyful smile will always stay with me. Holding all the family close in my thoughts and heart. ❤️
