John's obituary

John Thomas Ferguson age 87 of Woodmere NY departed on Monday September 28. He was born on November 4 1927 to Florence and Elroy Ferguson and the oldest of two children. He enlist in Korean War to the Airforce in 1950 and he serve in the Airforce until 1960. In 1955 he met Mary Freemen a Panamanian immigrant who came to the country when she was eleven at her cousin party they both fell in love and a year later they got married in 1956 and they had three children together. John worked for UPS for thirty seven years until he retired in 1990 and ten years later John and Mary moved to Woodmere Long Island New York. John started to have health problems starting the beginning of December 2010 when the doctor diagnose him with Alzheimer's and his memory was getting worst and worst year by year and in April 2013 his beloved Mary died from a stroke and he died two years later from kidney failure during watching TV approximately 6:30 pm i his house. John is survived by his beloved that late Mary Freemen Ferguson; son Gary G. Ferguson of Brooklyn New York, son Hennery D. Ferguson (Yvette) of Woodmere Long Island New York, daughter Brenda V. Ferguson West (Andrew) of Fredericksburg Virginia; 12 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren his younger brother James Ferguson (Lucile)of Rosedale New York his sister in law Marie Freemen Wilson (James) of London England and Brother in law Martin Freemen (Anna) of Upper west side New York ; his host of nephews and nieces and relatives and friends. A celebration of John life will be held at starting 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm on October third 2015 at The District Church in Washington DC the then the next day on Sunday October 4 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am he will be lie to rest at Arlington national cemetery.
