Obituary

John Shannon Ertel passed away on the 11th of June, 2022. He is survived by his son and daughter, John Scott Ertel and Kathryn Kimberly Yacovodonato; their mother, Margaret; his cousins Roy, Mary, Richard, Martha, and Melinda; his beloved dogs, Lucky and Roux; and many, many friends. 

"Shan" grew up on a ranch in Fort Worth, the only son of John Charles Ertel of San Francisco, California, and Ruth Shannon Hearn of Eastland County, Texas. …
