John Elder went home to Jesus on April 22, 2023 at age 54.

John was born to Thomas and Geraldine (Gerry) Elder  on September 15, 1968 in Lake Jackson, TX. As a child, John loved to be outside playing and riding his bike.

John met his wife, Stacey in 2007 on a blind date. They married shortly after meeting  and went on to have an additional 2  children together. John had 6 children, Kevin Elder, Nicholas Elder, Christopher Bennett, Alexander Bennett, Lauren Elder, and Phillip Elder. John moved from Texas in the late 1990's to Colorado. From Colorado, he and his family moved to North Carolina in November of 2020.    In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, John also loved taking pictures and range time.  John accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in June 2007.  John had sessions of  unbelief occasionally, God helped him through it. Johns faith in God was shared by him in all that he did.  John joins both of his parents, a brother, a brother in law and his mother in law  in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Stacey and all his children, in addition to 2 beautiful grand children.
