John went home to be with the Lord on February 4. He passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with illnesses. He was survived by his loving wife Jody, granddaughter Kyla, granddaughter Madison, and a sister Irene Ackley of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother Carrie(Heimbach)and John Dyer. He was born in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and grew up in Danville, Pennsylvania John joined the Air Force and served his country at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita Kansas. He was a retired he from Boeing aircraft also in Wichita Kansas.
