John Douglas Watson, lovingly known as “Uncle Duck” to his nieces and nephews, passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 62 — the same date his beloved mother, Mary Ethel Downing Watson, passed years earlier. He was born on January 31, 1963, to Orvil Hurst Watson of Pasadena, Texas, and Mary Ethel Downing Watson of Jackson, Mississippi. Doug was a cherished son, brother, and uncle.
