John's obituary

John DeLorenzo Jr., 86, peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 2nd, 2024 in Brick, New Jersey. Born on July 26th, 1938, in Newark, New Jersey, He was the son of John and Elsie DeLorenzo. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joann DeLorenzo; his sister, Elaine Alfano (predeceased Brother-in-Law, Bruno Alfano) and his Sister-in-Law, Celeste Cordasco. 

He is survived by his cherished children Theresa Ascolese (predeceased Gerardo Ascolese) and John DeLorenzo the 3rd (Eileen Crandall); adored grandchildren Eduardo Ascolese Esq. (Emilia Ascolese), Lauren Ascolese, and Erica Tornatore (Michael Tornatore); cherished great grandchildren Scarlett Ascolese and Gerardo Ascolese; and nephew John Alfano (Shannon Alfano, Anthony and Ryan Chapman). Along with many cousins and friends.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 14th, at St. Andrew’s church in Avenel, NJ, at 10:30am. (244 Avenel st., Avenel, NJ, 07001)
