In Loving Memory of John Damasco (Poppy)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Damasco, lovingly known as Poppy, who passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at the age of 81. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, John’s legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

John was born on March 27, 1943, and was a pillar of strength and a source of warmth to his family and friends. He was known for his unwavering generosity, his sense of humor, and his ability to make everyone feel like family. John’s dedication to his loved ones was evident in everything he did, and his presence will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Josephine, his children Annamaria, Concetta, John, and Laura, and his cherished grandchildren Michael, Gabriella, Samantha, Juliana, and Giovanna. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Michael and Vincent. His family meant everything to him, and his love for them was immeasurable.

John’s life was filled with moments of joy, laughter, and deep connection. Whether gathered around the dinner table, sharing stories, or enjoying his favorite hobbies, his warmth and love brought people together.

A celebration of John’s life will be held on Friday January 31st, 2025 at Camino del Sol. Located at 13738 W. Camino del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375
