John Dale, 93, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on January 16, 2024.

John was born on July 31, 1930 to Junius Clark Dale and Carrie Hugger Dale  in Montgomery, AL . After graduating from Lanier High School he went on to study business at The University of Alabama. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict.  After graduation, he worked in Insurance sales for Dale Stewart Insurance Company which later was named Dale Farrior Insurance Company. After selling Dale Farrior he worked for his remaining years in real estate development.  

He is survived by his wife Genelle West Dale and his daughters Laine Dale Filasky (Joe) and Laura Dale Dockery (Jimmy) ; his grandchildren John Taylor Dockery, Katherine Sandra Dockery and James Forrest Dockery.

Service will be held Thursday, January 25th at Landmark Church of Christ at 1800 Halcyon Blvd

A private family burial will take place in Oakhill, AL.
