It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John, age 50, on January 18, 2025. John was a kind-hearted and talented mechanic who attended Lincoln Tech Trade School and dedicated many years as a mechanic to Schneider Trucking in Lake Villa.

John had a deep love for animals and they brought him endless joy. He found peace and happiness up north, whether relaxing on the pontoon, exploring flea markets, or hanging out with friends. He also loved his four-wheeler adventures. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his uncle Ron.

Known for his hearty laugh, John loved funny movies and he shared countless moments of humor with those close to him. His warmth, loyalty, and adventurous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his sister, Lori, his niece, Alexia, and many great friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert and mother, JoAnne. John's memory will live on in the hearts of family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
