John Couts III of Independence MO passed away at the home on March 22, 2024. John was born October 5,1961 and was a lifelong resident of Kansas City. He was a proud member of Teamsters Union Local 41 working for Consolidated Freightways for over 20 years. He loved drawing, riding motorcycles, fast cars and most of all his family.

 John Couts and Theresa Cruz raised six children together: Vincent, Victor, John, Mary Patricia,  Marina, and James.  He leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren. John was loved by many and will always be remembered for his kind heart.  To the end he still had a great sense of humor.
