John Wayne Collums, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the age of 72.
John was born to parents, Wayne Collums and Lillian Trudeau-Collums, on December 6, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up as the eldest of 5 children and attended Covina High School (California) where he was a nationally ranked Track and Field star. Soon thereafter John joined the Navy and became a specialized submarine diver. In 1972, …
