John Joseph Cash, age 83, passed away on August 20, 2024. Born on March 30, 1941, John lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a love for the simple joys of everyday living.

John was married to the love of his life, Betty Durham Cash, since 1960. Together they built a lifetime of memories grounded in commitment, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

A skilled diesel mechanic by trade, John took great pride in his work and was known for his ability to fix nearly anything that came his way. Outside of his profession, he found joy in rebuilding old muscle cars, spending time on the golf course, and caring for his yard.

John leaves behind his beloved wife, Betty Cash; his son, Steve Cash of Grayling, Michigan; his daughter, Karen Loren of Muskegon, Michigan; and five cherished grandchildren: Michael Cash, Kevin Cash, Jacob Wysbechter, Kala Loren, and Kara Loren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Ina Cash of Carleton, Michigan; his daughter, Vicki Wysbechter; and his grandson, Jackson Wysbechter.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
