Hello my name is Ralph Reinhardt. I was friends with both John and Dan. Starting from 1972 all the way through the mid 1990's when John moved back to Redding to try the business climate here for his handyman skills. We reunited a few times and recorded hard rock and heavy metal music on cassette for him. This was at my place on Jamison Court, as I had a component stereo system. Earlier in our lives ,when we were in grade school. John and Dan lived on Alta Camino and I live on Alta Rico dr. Just on block away from each other. I would go to his family's house to play as young kids do. We used to go out in the woods just down the street. We would play cowboys and Indians as well as army with our cap guns and such. We would also play the usual games like hide and seek and tag. Just up the road was the Western Ranches club house, that had a large swimming pool . Our two families used to go swimming there alot in the summertime. BBQ and play tennis as well. John's mother Donna an my mother were and are tight friends. So after her divorce from Dave Capp(R.I.P.) Donna moved her and John and Dan to an apartment on Victor Avenue. Me and my mother used to drive over there to visit. Me and John and Dan would play and have a great time. About a year or two later. They moved to Sacramento. So me and mom would go there and visit. Usually staying a night or two at their house . John was always a real cool guy. Dan too. We would smoke cigarettes and listen to Ted Nugent and Black Sabbath albums. Doing all the things that young teenage guys do. All the while trying not to get caught by our parents. After awhile we lost track of each other in our late teens and early twenties. That brings me back to the mid nineties. John was at the time still a real cool fellow. I missed him after he moved back to Sac. I'm glad to see he was a success in life. Both in family and business matters. He was a great guy with a good sense of humor. Rest in peace John my friend.
