The Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach offers free programs for cancer patients, their families and loved-ones. This organization has been an incredible source of comfort and support to our family over the last 18 months. Our family will receive ongoing free psychological support and other assistance through this organization. We have been told that John made quite an impact on his support group with his positivity and love of life and family. He even organized an ugly sweater night for the group! How are donations used?

All donations will be used to support the 200+ monthly support programs we provide cancer patients and their loved ones.
What can be done with a $100 donation?

a $100 donation pays for the cost of an individual counseling sessions for a cancer patient or loved one.
What progress has been made already thanks to your donors?

Thanks to our donors, we have substantially increased the variety and amount of programs we provide to our participants.
What is the history of your organization?

Since 1987, CSC South Bay has provided psychosocial support and educational programs at no cost in fulfillment of our mission “to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community.” As a part of a global network of affiliate organizations dedicated to providing emotional support to cancer patients and their loved ones, CSC South Bay's support is integral to cancer patients in active treatment, those returning to wellness post-treatment and long-term survivors, as well as their family members, caregivers and other loved ones, age 5 and up.
