Background
As most of you know, John was an avid fisherman. One might even say it was in his blood. He took a lot of pride in tying his flys, preparing for a trip, and admiring a hard days work out on the water. His love for fishing taught him perseverance, patience, and determination. These qualities embodied John throughout the years and his battle with his health.
Despite his health struggles, John always maintained an amazing passion for cooking. Anyone who had the pleasure of sitting at a table with John was able to savor the amazing flavors he combined to make a flavorful and robust meal with a curated drink that strengthened the flavors in the meal. He shared with many his love for cooking in the forms of family dinners and also providing tips to the novice cooks.
John’s unexpected passing on February 28, 2024, after a long health journey has left us all in various stages of grief as we begin to navigate the future without him. John leaves behind his legacy with his children, grandchildren, brother, extended family, and the many friends he had. Unfortunately, there were no funds or arrangements to help ensure he receives a proper send off. We are starting this fundraiser to help offset the cost of his cremation and funeral services. Any donations beyond our goal will be used towards his outstanding medical bills and other financial obligations. Thank you so much to everyone in advance for your support. Contribute
