John Sisson Breese passed away in Chicago IL at Northwestern Memorial.  He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Vanessa.  His son's Jonathan(Falisha) of Portage IN. Mike (Treveena), Gerald of Hobart IN. Numerous strays. Niece's, Nephews and Grandchildren.  Special thanks to Nurse Practitioner Kristen Patrick of Jessie Brown Va who was instrumental in helping John get the VAD. It gave him almost 4 extra years.  Special thanks to Northwestern Medicine for taking such good of him.  John was an MP Stationed in Germany during his Military Service.  He then served as a Law Enforcement Officer for the City of Gary.  He retired after 23 years Service with 14 of those years as one of the original members of the SWAT team. He loved to cook, BBQ, just about anything to do with food. If you were at his house when dinner was served,  you ate too.
