Jack was a regular at McDonalds for many years, sitting with his friend Lyle. He was always a gentleman, and spoke highly of his wife, whom he missed so much. We missed him during Covid and he never really got back to coming but still I would see him on his grocery trips with Lyle and say "Hi". We are very sad to hear he had passed away. Our condolences to all who mourn the loss of this lovely man.
I first met Jack 43 years ago when my husband Brian had brought me over to Jack’s family’s home in New Lowell to help his wife Susie after she had just given birth to Billi-Jo, little sister to Sherry and John. We became close friends with Jack and Susie spending many memorable times sitting in their cute little farmhouse kitchen and after we had moved back to the city going to visit them in their new home in New Lowell. I remember one time we were all at our farm trying to herd cows from the barn to a fenced area. All of us running around like chickens attempting to coral the cows without them running off. Another time I was looking out my kitchen window and saw Jack and Brian’s pigs trotting down the driveway. Once Jack and Susie hurried over we were out there again running around like crazy trying to get the pigs back in the barn. Fun times! Too many stories to share but there were plenty. Thank you Jack for being a cherished friend, you will be missed but I have so many memories that I can reflect on which will bring a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. Rest in Peace my friend I love you!💕💕
