John's obituary
John was born in Brooklyn, of the late John Michael Aulicino Sr & Joan Crowe (Aulicino) He attended and graduated from Plainedge High School, and Farmingdale State College. He worked in the insurance industry and those who knew him, knew he had a way to sell just about anything. John loved to dance, and met many friends on the dance floor. He was always the star on the floor and known as GQ. In addition to dancing, John loved the beach, traveling the world, motorcycles, fancy cars, socializing, and animals. He also loved flying planes, so much so that he went to pilot school and got his license to fly small planes.
John is survived by his only daughter, Sabina wife of Jr Mattern, Marietta PA. Three grandchildren, Andrew Michael, Marietta PA, Adrian Sabina, York, PA & Alexandra Sabina (Turtle) Marietta, PA. Two younger brothers, Joesph husband of Josephine Aulicino, & Jeffrey husband of Tina Aulicino, Massapequa, NY. One niece, ToniAnne wife of Nate Serna, San Diego, CA, and three nephews, Anthony, Angelo & Vincent Aulicino, Massapequa, NY. Great niece & nephew, Savanna & Axel, San Diego, CA and one 4 legged great niece & service dog, Basil whom he loved dearly. A large extended family, aunts, uncles & cousins, as well as many life long friends. He was especially loved by life long companions Paulette Paterno, Staten Island, NY, Rita wife of Mick Hickey, Manhattan, NY & Monika wife of Dennis Mcnamara, Franklyn Sqaure, NY, 8 grand-puppies and one great grand-pup. John was preceded in death by his parents, uncles, aunts and cousins.
A celebration of life mass for John will be held on Saturday January 18th at the Maria Regina Roman Catholic Church 3945 Jerusalem Avenue, Seaford NY, 11783 at 9:45AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John’s honor to help with funeral expenses.
