John was married to my sister and she passed away in 1976.  John went on to be a single dad to his three children and did an awesome job at raising them.  He subsequently had a daughter Kate and partnered with Lana who stayed by his side for many years.   John was an awesome brother in law and gave our parents their first grandchildren and our family our first niece and nephews and we always appreciated him for that.   Sincerest condolences to Lana, Darlene, Sean, Michael and Kate and  and their families.

The first persons who came to mind were Allana , Darlene who among many others John  dearly loved.

John was an overly generous man , he walked the talk always there for a brother with unconditional hand up.

Could be grumpy but his smile was ample compensation.

In solidarity with the grieving family and the broader community.

My deepest sympathy to Lana and the Daly family. John and I were born on the same day. When it was my birthday I would send my twin a birthday wish. I'll miss him.

Very Sad news. My sincere sympathies to Allana and the whole family. He was a part of my life. Sadly, I won't be able to attend the commemoration but I will be there in spirit.

I have no words to describe the impact you had on so many lives that you touched . You will be missed by all that knew you. Rest in peace Uncle John . My families thoughts and prayers are for your family and friends that miss you dearly.
