John and I were life-long friends. We were Little League baseball players, locker-partners in junior high, pen-pals in high school, sports enthusiasts at A&M, best man at our weddings, season ticket holders, golfers (with Randy), and on, and on, and on... But most importantly, we were brothers in Christ. And while my life won't be the same this side of heaven, I thank God for John's salvation, witness, and enduring legacy.

From watching Mannix in college with Cherry and Terry, to playing flag football and softball, to playing golf and sharing stories and pictures of kids and grandkids.
