I first met John while in High School. A bunch of us would go to Calhoun hall in New Berlin to square dance. We had lots of fun and that is where I met John. I knew that he was the one for me. I went on a dbl date with his best friend Dave. By the end of the night I was with John. The rest is history. I miss him every day, but blessed that God gave us 49 years together. I know where he is and I will join him one day. XOXOXO
Victor promised John a bull, and John told Victor the bulls gonna be too big for my yard. and Victor said don’t worry John your yard is big enough for the bull I’ll bring him next week.
When Mike, Chuck, and myself started going to River Glen church we noticed this one guy who would always smile at us with such a welcome look on his face. We found out his name was John and we went on to help with the ushering and the greeting. No matter what goof ups we had John was always the first to tell us it was OK. We have many good memories associated with John and Holly.
I am sorry to hear of John´s passing. John and I shared a memory of a mission trip. I have always been thankful for his kind words when I was going through a major change in my life. His wise words will never be forgotten and we´re just what I needed to hear. I will always remember him with fondness. My prayers are with you and your family as you travel through this change in your life. Dawn Haren
