John's obituary
John was born on November 23, 1955 to William and Marian Achenbach in Los Angeles, CA. John met his wife, Denise, in 1977. They married in 1979 and went on to have two children, Mark and David.
In addition to being an adoring husband, father, and grandfather (Papa), John also loved spending time with family and friends, camping, reading, and telling unapologetically terrible puns. He never failed to light up a room and loved nothing more than sharing a laugh with everyone around him.
He is survived by his mother (Marian), wife (Denise), sons (Mark and David), daughters-in-law (Janelle and Elaine), and grandchildren (Ella, Ian, and Luke). He will be dearly missed, but we take comfort knowing we will be reunited with him in Heaven someday.
