The memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3. There will be refreshments following the service and we would like everyone to join us.
For anyone coming in from out of town, we recommend the Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) over George Bush Airport (IAH) as we live in south Houston and are 20 min from Hobby but almost an hour from Bush. South West and other airlines fly into Hobby. United operates a hub out of Bush.
For lodging, some people have found the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Pasadena to have good rates and it is less than 15 min from our house. There are also hotels in Webster, TX just south of us. We live close to the church where the memorial is being held so anywhere close to that is convenient.
