How you can help

Joey's death was unexpected and completely life altering. He lived with this horrible disease, Sickle Cell, his whole life, but never once let it define him. I always knew one day it would take him from us, but never did I imagine it would be this soon. It has given us a huge reality check for the lack of awareness and the lack of caring that surrounds us in regard to this disease.
This memorial fund is in honor of Joey; my heart, my home, my soulmate, and my best friend. All funds will be donated to the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation in memory of him.
