It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joesph "“Big Joe”" Smith on May 15, 2024. Born on May 4, 1946, Joesph was a pillar of strength and kindness, his loving and witty personality endearing him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Known also as “Big Joe”, Joesph was a man who stood up for what he believed was right - a lesson he imparted to those around him. His spirit will continue to guide us in the moments when we most need his wisdom.

Joesph is survived by his treasured daughter, Jodi Smith. He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Dorothy Smith, and his beloved mother, Hazel Smith. His love extended beyond the bounds of time and space. He is gone but will never be forgotten, his memory living on in the hearts of those he left behind.

A Funeral service to celebrate the life and legacy of Joesph will be held on May 21, 2024, at 8:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home & Crematory. It is here that we will say our goodbyes, honor his memory, and begin to navigate a world without our “Big Joe”.

Gone but never forgotten, Joesph Smith leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the truth. His loss is deeply felt, and he will be dearly missed.
