Joseph's obituary
Joseph Anthony Lambert, 62, passed away on April 2, 2025, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Born on January 6, 1963, in
Indianapolis, Indiana, Joseph lived a life marked by laughter, family connections, and a love for the simple pleasures that brought joy to each day.
He was the beloved son of Bessie and Rolla Lambert and was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Rolla Lambert; his sister, Anna Morgan; and dear friend Leota D McGinnis.
Joseph is lovingly remembered by his sister and brother-in-law, Jeannette and Harold Bryant; his sister Mary Lyons; Amy Compton; Debbie Aguilar; his daughter, Ann Ruth Brooks; and his son, Joseph Anthony Lambert. His legacy continues through his grandchildren-Caitlynn Renee
Mills, Jennifer Rose Mills, Breanna Nichole Brooks, Jeremy Lewis Grey Brooks, and Michael Xavier Brooks—and great-grandson David Joseph Lee Sullivan.
Joseph found joy in spending time with both family and coworkers.
Known for his sense of humor and easygoing nature, he had a special way of bringing lightness to those around him. He enjoyed watching movies on his laptop and playing games on his phone as ways to unwind and connect.
Music was one of his greatest passions-he appreciated all genres and loved attending concerts.
Among his favorite experiences were riding the Slingshot thrill ride followed by a meal at Joe's Crab Shack. A particularly cherished memory was visiting Haulover Canal at the wildlife refuge, where he delighted in petting manatees.
Though he did not attend church regularly, Joseph held a steadfast belief in our Lord Jesus Christ—a quiet but enduring faith that guided him throughout life.
May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and joy to those who recall the laughter he so freely gave
