Joel Loren Chiappetta, age 50, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on February 16, 2023, after a period of illness. He was born on February 8, 1973, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Melissa Ann and the late Carmen Michael Chiappetta.
Joel grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and attended St. John of the Cross School. He later played hockey for St. Rita High School, where he formed many lasting friendships during those years. …
