Joel Brandt Augustine passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022, after a short illness. He grew up in Perrysburg, OH and graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1964 and the College of Wooster in 1968. He earned a Master of Science in Educational Technology from the University of Toledo in 1977. In 1970, he married Janice Lynn Maureen Gray, a Toronto native, on Turtle Island, Toronto.
