After a difficult and brief battle with COPD, our family regrets to announce the loss of our grandfather, Joe "Big Joe" Scott. Joe moved to Dallas, TX from Kansas City, KS --  setting down roots by establishing a small accounting business, something he excelled in almost immediately.

After about 10 years of hard work,  Joe would go on to have two home offices -- one in Kansas City and one in Dallas. He split time between both offices. During one of his trips to Arkansas, he met his wife, Gertrude. Gertrude went on to have 2 children, Jackie and Larry. After he'd established success in both of his home offices, Joe eventually transferred his business to his son so that he and Gertrude could spend their retirement traveling and living the good life.

Though they were both into traveling, but they'd soon settle down in Dallas.
