Joseph F. Perkins, age 70, took his final ride on September 28th, 2023. Perk leaves behind his daughter Rachel Xiques her husband Donald, and granddaughter Sophia. Joseph was survived by his brothers Michael, Robert, Mark, Owen and their families. Joseph was preceded in death by his father Marshall Perkins and mother Patricia Claire Perkins. He served aboard the LPD 7-Cleveland and was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon.

Perk was an active member of the Broken Spoke Family Association for 18 years and continued his devotion for the following 6 years. In lieu of flowers, search Joe “Perk” Perkins on Everloved to make a donation to Operation Santa’s Sleigh hosted by the Broken Spoke Family Association. All donations will go towards supporting the Association’s mission. 

Receiving of friends will be held at Darlington Volunteer Fire Company located at 2600 Castleton Road, Darlington, MD on October 29th from 1pm - 4pm, memorial service will begin at 4pm.
