I was looking up old friends on the internet and I happened to look up Joe and was shocked to hear of his passing. I shared two summers with him at Caritas Creek and we became good friends at camp. He was funny and genuinely cared about the kids. My condolences to everybody that knew Joe and his family because his light went out too soon. Fly with the angels Joe. Fondly, Susan Murphy

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance.

I worked with Joe at Timothy Murphy School and we went to Mendocino often.  We would go to Caritas Creek and he would tell me the great memories he had there.  I will miss him always.
