Joe's obituary

Joe C. Mead was born April 12 1935 Vancouver, WA to Parents Percy & Elizabeth Mead. Joes Sisters; Doris & Florence, Brothers; Charles & Jim. Graduated from Kalama High School. He joined the Air Force and later enrolled into the California College of Arts. Married Ruth Mead 1959. Lived in the Bay Area where they both began studying the Bible. Baptized at in 1963 as Jehovah's Witnesses. He had a great love of the Bible and encouraged many to do the same. Joe loved the Arts and had many talents. He enjoyed drawing, painting and was a sculptor. Raising 5 Children he drove Bus for AC Transit in Oakland, California, Greyhound and drove Truck. After moving back to Oregon Joe pursued his love of flying and eventually became a Helicopter Pilot. Joe is survived by Wife Micki, Children; Sharon, Mike, Greg, Paul, Jennifer, Jodi & Catherine. 13 Grandchildren & 6 Great Grandchildren. Many Friends & Family!
