Brothers
Brothers — with Little Joe and big brother Charles
It doesn'tseem possible a year has passed so quickly.  The news of his death was sad, even though it meant an end to his suffering. I know the children we shared were touched, each in their own way. They individually have  their own memories of their Dad and as their Mom, my heart aches for each one.  Death is an enemy we face for now.  Joe and I taught our children the reason there is death and also the promise our Creator has given us  of the earth being transformed to its original purpose of a paradise.  Revelation 21:3 &4; where there will be no pain, death, or suffering.

Dad was a great father, mentor and all around fun loving family guy!  Miss our phone calls every day!  One of a kind!

Joe and I were in the air force together in Washington, DC in 1954/55.  I found him two or three years ago and we exchanged emails on a hap hazzard basis.  I've been thinking about him the past few days and wondering why I hadn't received a reply to my latest email.  Today I found his obituary and it makes me sad.  RIP fellow air force vet.
