Joe's obituary

Please visit www.joekasper.com for more up to date information. Thank you.

Joe Kasper, 70, of Weare, NH, woke up on July 16, 2024, in his usual way - eager to greet a new day, singing a song of a beautiful morning. He gave a kiss to his soulmate and wife of 47 years, JoAnn, and took off in one of his prized possessions (second only to his hot tub) for his home-away-from-home at Northeast Delta Dental in Concord, where he worked as the Director of Corporate Services for over 20 years. He moved on from this world suddenly on a morning full of some of his favorite things.

Joe was born in 1954 to Joseph and Marie Kasper alongside brother, James Kasper, and sister, Nora (Kasper) Silvia, in Laconia. He attended Laconia High School and went on to study Business at Saint Anselm College.

To meet Joe was to be lucky enough to know the kindest person in your life. So when he crossed JoAnn’s path in 1974 at the Laconia Church Bingo Hall she fell in love with his charismatic personality. They married on May 14th 1977 and set out to build their life together with their two children, Tiffany, 40, and Alex, 37, settling in Hudson to raise their family where they lived for 18 years.

Joe figuratively wore just as many hats as he literally collected over his lifetime. At home he was a loving husband, caring father, and oftentimes clumsy handyman, who strove to ensure his family’s happiness - which he succeeded in doing through his natural positivity and uncanny ability to find the humor in any situation. A larger than life personality standing at 5’ 5” tall, Joe’s calling outside of work and family focused on giving back to his community. He was an active member of such organizations as the Hudson Lions, Concord Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters, among others, through which he forged countless, meaningful friendships and touched many lives.

In honor of his memory, the Kasper family invites all those who knew Joe to a celebration of his life being held on August 24 at Northeast Delta Dental, 1 Delta Dr, Concord, NH 03301 at 1pm-5pm ET. Inquiries can be directed to alexkasp@gmail.com.
